In December the team won its division at Afrim's Indoor Facility in Albany by posting a record of 5-0. Trainer PJ Motsiff commented, "The girls are getting better and better at seeing their options under pressure. This is evident in how far they have come in the past 3 months."
This past Summer the team won the U13 YPSL Girls Championship which is the youth league for the Women's Premier Soccer League (One of the top 5 women's leagues in the world!). The team played top clubs from NY, NJ, and PA. They had to beat the Long Island Fury (the summer program for the Nationally known Albertson Soccer Club in Long Island) to take home top honors.
This Spring the academy intends to play in 4 tournaments. These include the May Day Classic (Saratoga Springs, NY), Needham (MA), Nordic Cup (VT), and Seaside Classic (RI). The team will also be tested as they play against the best clubs in NY from Albany to Binghampton to Syracuse to Rochester to Buffalo while playing in the Thruway League Cup.
