Laurie Darling Gutheil will be entering her twelfth year as part of The College of Saint Rose Women’s Soccer program, as head coach Gutheil has taken St. Rose women’s soccer to new heights. The team’s greatest success has come in the last five years where Gutheil has led her team to the NCAA Tournament, making three consecutive appearances from 2002-2004. Their 2002 appearance was the teams first ever in the NCAA Tournament and Gutheil received the NE-10 Coach of the Year Award, partly as recognition for this achievement.

Laurie Darling Gutheil has a clear passion for women’s soccer which is made apparent from the remarkable turn around that has been achieved by Guthiel with the Saint Rose women’s team, her dedication to that program over the past eleven years has seen the team continue to rise year after year. Gutheil and her husband, Jason Gutheil; also the assistant coach, have worked together to bring the team from the ground up to develop one of the best teams in NCAA Division II soccer. With this obvious dedication to the game and Gutheil’s clear craving for success she is another huge asset to the Lynx Academy and will bring an enormous enthusiastic element to the organization.
