Mary-Frances Monroe has excelled at everything she has done in her soccer playing career. She was an All-American as a high school and college player. She has played with the US National Team and professionally both in the US and abroad.
After her college career Monroe went on to play professionally in both the United States and abroad, she has enjoyed an array of professional experience in her career so far; playing for the Philadelphia Charge and the Boston Breakers in the Women’s United Soccer Association (WUSA), and also in Sweden for KIF Orebro.
Monroe has also enjoyed international experience; representing the United States at the U-21 level and then starting her senior international career in 2000 with a debut against Australia. Among her educational successes Monroe is a National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) certified personal trainer and also holds a United States Soccer Federation (USSF) “C” Coaching License. The success that Monroe has and currently is enjoying in the game of women’s soccer will provide the Lynx Academy with valuable experience to both the academy girls and other staff members.
