Sarah will bring an international flavor to the Lynx Academy. She has proven she can play by representing Australia in the most recent FIFA World Cup and Olympics. Sarah Cooper is a former Australian International player who boasts an outstanding international record; representing her home country throughout a decade of play for the Australian Women’s National Soccer Team. Cooper participated in the 1995 and 1999 FIFA Women’s World Cup Tournaments with Australia and then went on to be a member of the 1999 and 2000 World All-Star teams.
Before taking the job as head coach at Skidmore, Cooper was an assistant coach with the Division I Long Island University’s Women’s Soccer Team from 2001-2003. Along with the playing and coaching experience Cooper also has her NSCAA Advanced Coaching License and is bringing a tremendous amount of valuable experience to the Lynx Academy, she has been to the top of her game and can undoubtedly offer a great deal to our organization.
